Clear glass has become a defining feature of modern offices—open, bright, and collaborative. But it can also act as a hidden channel for visual data leakage. In July 2026, Nanhai Display partnered with CISCO, a global technology leader, to deploy Celaeno® Film across its office glass partitions. For a data-driven enterprise like CISCO, workplace privacy and information security are non-negotiable—and this collaboration directly addresses the risks created by transparent workspace design.
1. Why Do Data-Driven Enterprises Need Celaeno® Film?
CISCO’s workspaces are characterized by high information density: open-plan desks, glass-walled meeting rooms, and constant screen-based collaboration. For technology and data companies, information security is no longer limited to network defense—it also includes physical exposure risks within the office environment.
Celaeno® Film is applied directly to glass partitions. It preserves the open, transparent aesthetic of modern offices while restricting the viewing angle of on-screen content to those inside the room.
2. How Did the Nanhai Display × CISCO Project Roll Out?
The project was led by LEO, Sales Manager at Nanhai Display. It began with an on-site survey to measure glass partition layouts across multiple CISCO office locations and calculate the required coverage. The team finalized the film specifications, covering a total area of approximately 200 square meters. Deployed locations include Shanghai, Beijing, Dalian, Shenzhen, Hefei, and Hong Kong, China.
Installation was carried out by an experienced professional film application team. Upon completion, CISCO’s facilities team conducted on-site acceptance testing: from the corridor, screen content was no longer readable, while the glass retained its light transmission and visual transparency.

3. Which Industries Benefit Most from Privacy Film?
The CISCO project highlights a cross-industry insight: privacy film solves a shared problem at the intersection of transparent architecture and confidential operations.
Technology and data companies: Engineering floors and product war rooms displaying roadmaps, technical solutions, and client data.
Financial institutions: Trading floors and advisory rooms with asset portfolios, transaction data, and compliance information on screen.
Healthcare organizations: Consultation and administrative areas where electronic medical records, diagnostic images, and patient information must remain confidential.
Legal and consulting firms: Meeting rooms where case files, contract terms, and privileged client information are discussed and displayed.
What these scenarios have in common is that the risk often does not come from sophisticated cyberattacks—it comes from someone who can simply see the screen. A physical privacy layer is therefore one of the most direct, reliable, and cost-effective safeguards available.
Closing: Physical Privacy Is Part of Data Security
While companies invest heavily in firewalls, encryption, and zero-trust network architecture, one easily overlooked risk remains: a casual glance through a glass wall. The CISCO project proves that closing this gap does not require rebuilding the office. It requires the right film, precise specification, and professional installation.
Nanhai Display specializes in optical film solutions, helping organizations bridge the gap between workspace design and information security.
